DRIVING DIRECTIONS & PARKING - Coming soon

CAN I REGISTER ON RACE DAY?  Race Day registration will open AT THE TIMING TENT at the Start/Finish line on 3rd St below Rosehill Community Center at 6:16am and close at 7:30 or when we sell out, whichever occurs first.  $40 5k - all ages, $45 10k -all ages.  Cash prices listed.  Add 3% for debit/credit fees.

WILL GEAR CHECK BE AVAILABLE?   Gear Check will NOT be available.

ARE DOGS OR STROLLERS ALLOWED ON THIS COURSE?  Pets are not allowed on this event due to insurance restrictions.  ONLY SINGLE STROLLERS ARE ALLOWED due to course restrictions. Those lining up with wide double strollers will be asked to return to their vehicle rather than participate in the event.

ARE HEADPHONES ALLOWED?  The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this event.  If you must use them  we STRONGLY suggest using only one earbud and keeping the volume low enough to be able to hear Course Marshall and Safety Monitor instructions while running.  This is not a closed course.

WILL THERE BE BATHROOMS ON THE COURSE?  Restrooms are available inside Rosehill Community Center only.  There are public toilets available on the route at Edgewater Beach and Lighthouse Park.

IS THERE A COURSE TIME LIMIT?  Since only a very small portion of our route is closed to traffic we do not have a course time limit for either the 5k or 10k events.  We do however need to be cleared out of the Community Center by 11:30 and we really, really want to be there to greet you when you cross the finish line!  Please plan on meeting or exceeding a 21 to 22 minute per mile pace to make sure you get all the recognition you deserve when you are done.

TIMING  Your race time will be recorded using RFID chip technology.  Be sure to pin your chip on the outside of your clothing between your hip and your knee so that the antennas pick you up.   Please wear your bib on the FRONT of your clothing when you cross the Finish Line.   The route crosses both train tracks and the ferry lanes.  It is possible that you will be asked to stop at either point for your safety.  If this occurs we will record your bib number and adjust the amount of time you were held before publishing results.  You are also welcome to email information from your personal timing system (Garmin, Strava, etc) to us when you get home if you are at all concerned that your delay was incorrectly recorded.

AWARDS and CELEBRATION  Official times will be posted no later than 5pm on Race Day on this website.  Overall 5k winners will be awarded at 9:00, 10k at 9:30.  Age group winners will receive their awards in the mail.  Age Group award is a placard to attach to the back of your finisher medal.  Please allow 30 days for mailing.  All finishers will be able to print out a finishers certificate.
